Etching cyberflower circuits.

I have attached a series of images detailing the early work on the petals for the cyberflower.

The new arduino.

I purchased an arduino to replace the broken board I had.
I housed it in a container and am looking forward to getting it to operate.

Fried my chip, somehow.

I have ordered an ATmega328 with Arduino Optiboot (Uno 16MHz) Bootloader. This will hopefully not die like the last microcontroler. So this project is put on hold until tomorrow when I can test the replacement and see if it works, or if something else on the board died too.

Parts arrived for physical computing.

My parts order has arrived. I received:

LED Matrix » Dual colour
Sparkfun FTDI Basic Breakout 5v

I also picked up a photodiode and a light sensative LED. Now I have a few ways to gather variable input and a few ways to communicate this as output. Time to play.

The start of a physical computing project.

This is an image of the MHVBoard R7 that I built. I did not attach the breadboard pins. I may do this later if needed.

So far I have done little with the board. I have just written a few small programs and uploaded them to control the LED. More coming.
